Sweet and Sour Shrimp

This one was amazing. I made it for my family and my stepdad super enjoyed it. I think i’ll be making it again :) It was also my last meal on P2 so that was very nice. The recipe came from here: http://www.firstcoastmd.com/pdfbin/free-hCG-diet-recipes.pdf

Beef Broccoli

I just made this one up as I went and it turned out pretty well. It’s just a bit of garlic powder, salt, pepper, orange and liquid aminos. I’m sure there are a lot more and better recipes online, but I was pretty okay with winging it. :)

Balsamic Crusted Steak and “Spaghetti”  I took the recipe for the Balsamic Crusted Steak from this tumblr (it just sounded really good… ): http://oneg0al.tumblr.com/beef. It was good. I ended up pan frying it. I think it would have been better in the oven. It had some very strong flavor to it. I would recommend not drenching it like I did. haha. The spaghetti sauce was just mashed up tomatoes, a bit of pan fried (in veggie broth) garlic and onion, some cayenne pepper, ground pepper, garlic salt, oregano and basil. The sauce was set upon Miracle Noodles

Spicy Mustard Chicken Pretty good if you like mustard :P Granted, I didn’t measure too much. heh. Recipe found here: http://www.firstcoastmd.com/pdfbin/free-hCG-diet-recipes.pdf

Italian Cabbage Turned out pretty well. I would probably put it with some sauce or something next time (like marinara). Came from this cookbook: http://www.firstcoastmd.com/pdfbin/free-hCG-diet-recipes.pdf

Orange Chicken and Veggie Rice A little mix of what I felt like today. heh. I used the ingredients from kmatn’s recommended recipe from her tumblr (http://kmatn.tumblr.com/lunch/dinner) on my chicken. I didn’t measure or really try too much because I was a bit on the lazy and in a hurry mode (turned out okay thought :) ). The veggies were a mixture of miracle rice, cauliflower, asparagus and green onions made in our new electric wok ;]. It all went really yummy together with some of the liquid aminos. I would definitely make it again.

My Updated Spaghetti :] I did the baked tomatoes again (used Roasted Tomato with Onion recipe from http://www.firstcoastmd.com/pdfbin/free-hCG-diet-recipes.pdf). I added some ground chicken on top of my kind of made up marinara sauce. It’s just blanched tomatoes, peeled and mashed with a potato masher, a small can of tomato paste and some of my favorite italian seasonings. It also had a bit of garlic and onion mixed in. All on top of my new favorite, miracle noodles! mm.

Our stir frys. My mom’s is on the left. We got an electric wok so she used that with no oil, only salt and pepper. It looked pretty amazing. We both added miracle noodles to our dishes. I used ground chicken, liquid aminos, a touch of veggie broth, cilantro, green onion and some red onion and it turned out great (I used a pan). I ate them as lettuce wraps and was not disappointed with my meal today.

BOMB ORIENTAL CABBAGE. I am so making this sort of thing when i’m off the diet. I made it once and have probably made it about 8 times now.. hehe. *** Please note that my doctor allows me all of the cabbage and lettuce i’d like as well as mixing veggies*** It’s just cabbage, onion, garlic and celery stir fried with a bit of veggie broth, liquid aminos and apple cider vinegar. Pretty good. I was out all day so we ended up stopping by the grocery store and picking up some shrimp to hold us over so we could get home. I had some strawberries and my melba toast on the side :]

I love this meal. I kind of am posting it twice, but now i’ve been only using garlic salt and ground pepper on my steak and cooking it with the onion and some cloves of garlic. I am surprised how much i’m enjoying it. I’m waiting to be able to add my bell peppers :]
